An Ever-Growing Commitment
Sustainability is a journey that never ends—it only grows. Like a river, winding through the forest, it changes. Wider. Deeper. Year after year, we find more meaning in its turns, pushing us to do more and use less.
More than 25 years ago, our founders made a promise to honor and protect the Earth—the home we all share—in everything we do. Today, we are as committed to that pledge as ever, and we invite you to join us on our journey.
Our Promise to The Land
SENGRIN has always been involved in the cleanup and governance of the oceans. Our mission is to give the earth a pure blue home. For every order we make, we will donate $10 to the ocean cleanup and restoration program.
The total area of the earth's oceans is about 360 million square kilometers, accounting for about 71% of the earth's surface area, with an average water depth of about 3,795 meters. The oceans contain more than 1.35 billion cubic kilometers of water, accounting for about 97 per cent of the Earth's total water, while only 2 per cent can be used for human consumption.
After pollutants on land enter the ocean, ocean currents can carry pollutants offshore to other seas, expanding the scope of pollution. However, with the movement of ocean currents, the pollutants will be transmitted to other sea areas, accelerating the speed of purification. For example, the fuel oil spill from a tanker in Spanish waters has severely polluted 350 kilometers of coast, causing serious damage to local fisheries production and the ecological environment. Plastics are the most prevalent element of marine waste and can have a harmful effect on wildlife.
Our donations have ensured that the ecosystems around some of the Pacific islands are now surrounded by crystal clear waters with marine life in full view.
This donation is a meaningful step in our journey of conservation and environmental preservation, one we could not be making without the support of you, our friends and clients. When our founders opened SENGRIN in 2015, they made a pledge to never use wood harvested from the rainforest, a promise we have held closely, shared with you, and continued to build on, togethe
Our Clear Million Nautical Miles Program
Since 2020, we have partnered with various marine conservation associations. Together, we've cleaned up close to 43 tons of marine debris from coast to coast - making progress toward the original Blue Planet goal - benefiting water resources, wildlife, people and the climate.
